Bowtruss, an iconic coffee shop located in Chicago, earned the title of Chicago's #1 coffee shop for two consecutive years. My role encompassed a range of responsibilities, from design and art curation to social media management and employee oversight, all of which contributed to Bowtruss's success.

I ensured the coffee shop's aesthetic reflected its artisanal roots and urban vibe. The design elements included everything from the shop's signage to the interior design, where every detail was carefully crafted to create a welcoming and memorable experience for patrons.

In the digital space, I managed our locations socials, crafting visually compelling content that highlighted the shop’s offerings, events, and the rotating art wall. The social media strategy I developed and executed significantly increased the shop’s following, creating a loyal online community that translated to foot traffic.

The combination of strategic design, curated art, engaging social media content, and effective employee management played a key role in Bowtruss's success for my tenure there. This recognition was a testament to the cohesive brand experience that I helped cultivate.

A unique feature of Bowtruss was its rotating art wall, which showcased the work of local artists. I curated this wall, selecting pieces that resonated with the shop’s brand while offering a fresh visual experience for returning customers. This not only supported local artists but also kept the shop's atmosphere dynamic and engaging.

Beyond design and curation, I took on the role of managing Bowtruss’s staff. I trained and guided employees to ensure they upheld the brand’s standards in service and ambiance. My hands-on approach in management ensured that the customer experience was consistent with the brand’s values.
